Synthetic Rubber Price in China (FOB) - 2023

The average synthetic rubber export price stood at $2,107 per ton in March 2023, picking up by 2.1% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, showed a slight decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2022 an increase of 3.3% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,470 per ton. From August 2022 to March 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum. Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Russia ($3,178 per ton), while the average price for exports to Malaysia ($1,552 per ton) was amongst the lowest. From March 2022 to March 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+2.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
